  1. DO 335 GUNNERY PRACTICE
  2.  
  3. The Dornier Do 335 "Pfeil" was one of 
  4. the most unique combat aircraft to be 
  5. developed during World War II.  Based 
  6. on a radical center-line thrust concept, the 
  7. Do 335's twin engines were mounted in 
  8. the front and rear of the fuselage.  With 
  9. one propeller pulling and the other 
  10. pushing, the Pfeil was the fastest piston-
  11. engine fighter ever produced.

  13.                     YOUR MISSION
  14.  
  15. Take off from Rechlin Luftwaffe airfield 
  16. to intercept an American B-17 flying low 
  17. past the field.  There are other Allied 
  18. aircraft flying in this area, so look around 
  19. once you've defeated this bomber.  If you 
  20. cannot see them in the air, check the map 
  21. for their positions.

  23. Practice deflection shooting against these 
  24. non-agressive opponents.  To be accurate 
  25. in a deflection shot, you must lead your 
  26. target so that your cannon shells intercept 
  27. its line of flight.

  29. Your Do 335 cannot be damaged and has 
  30. unlimited ammunition.

  32. Your mission will not end automatically.  
  33. You must choose to quit.  Please see your
